Purpose

Creating Living Monuments to the Lives Lost

The goal of is to link the families who have lost their loved ones to violence with hip-hop artists, DJ's and performers who will convert the stories to song — a medium that will afford a more widespread platform for their message.

From the sounds of slaves singing songs toward freedom, to anthems like “We Shall Overcome,” we have shared stories of success and loss through music. Music has helped and healed our communities and it must do so again.
Join the discussion on music’s role in bringing peace, celebrate the conclusion of the Anonymous Boston exhibit and witness the launch of the What is Beautiful Never Dies music project.
